Life is full of problems!

“PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY”

A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it,asking his students to guess it’s weight.
50 gms….100 gms… 125 gms.. the students answered.
I really would not know unless I weigh it,but my question is “what would happen if I held it  like this for af ew minutes ?”
“Nothing”, the students said.
“O.K.what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour ? ” asked the professor.
“Your arm would begin to ache”,said one of the students.
“You are right. Now what would happen if I held it like this for a day ? ” Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress and paralysis, and might even have to go to the hospital” ventured another student.
“Very Good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change ?” asked the professor.
“No”, replied the students in unison.
“Then what caused the arm to ache and the muscle to stress out ? “
The students were puzzled.
“Put the glass down” said one of the students.
“Exactly !” Life’s probloems are soemthing like this.Hold on to them for a few minutes in your head, and they seem O .K.Think of them for a long time and they begin to ache.Hold them even longer, and they begin to paralyze you,and you will not be able to do anything”.
“It is important to think of problems (challenges) in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to put them down at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way you are not stressed ,when you wake up the next day,and are fresh and strong to take on fresh challenges that the new day may throw your way.
So,as it becomes time for you to call it a day today (and every day),remember to “PUT THE GLASS DOWN”.
